Thanks to Miyoken from the povray.tools.general group. I made a few
modifications to the POVTree/TomTree include that was submitted by Miyoken
in p.b.s-f, and rendered this.
It's not for the lightly RAM'd (it took about 730MB peak, to render). I
might be able to change some settings, though, to achive similar results.
It has 200 branches (not counting twigs and ramification), and lots of
foliage. I'm not quite sure what sucks up the RAM the most.
It took about 2 hrs to render (AMD 3200+), with fairly high radiosity
settings, which I'm sure could have been lowered for an outdoor scene like
this.
I was (am?) planning to use the tree for a Christmas card idea that I have.
But with POVComp's deadline extended, my Christmas card plans might have to
wait until next year.
I'll post the include (as a response to the other post in p.b.s-f) if anyone
wants to make it look better or use less RAM, or if they like it how it is.
Just let me know.

Looks good. You never know, you might be able to do both :)

Well, if I do, I probably won't be able to show it publicly (at least not
here) until some time next year, since I was (am?) planning to use some of
the objects/macros from my POVComp entry.
Given a choice between the two, however, I'd like to continue work on my
POVComp entry. :-)

Who around here has the power to use *that* in a scene?

I have a Gig. Perhaps next year, I'll upgrade to 2. When you figure-in
virtual memory, I robably have about 1.5GB's that I can use before things
start getting unreasonably slow. That means that I would probably have to
make sure that the rest of my image didn't use too much RAM.
BUT! I would guess that the memory consumption of the tree could be cut
down considerably. Right now, I'm not familiar enough with TomTree to
figure out where all of the memory is getting consumed. There might be some
simple things that would decrease memory use drastically.

Yes,I want it.
I changed The leaf of my that tree into the leaf of ginkgo tree modeled
with hamaPatch.
Before, I made the mistake in trying arrangement of the leaf and was not
able to do it.
Now, it is very good touch.
I may be able to progress to the following stage of making ginkgo tree using
POV-Tree.
But I forgot to save the bunch parameters after exporting as mesh....
