Started out as a test-of-concept render for translucency on thin objects 
and ended up something else. (I started to worry more about the 
placement on the butterflies.) Doen't quite illustrate the effect the 
way I ment to, but as it is fall here I thought it might be fun.

I especially like the "bright edges" around the trees. Is this simply the
result of positioning the light behind the trees?

My guess is, the leafs are single-sided meshes, but are they double
illuminated or transparant? It also looks like you're using media or fog,
but I'm not sure.
