In my last post, the planet's surface was just defined using the map from
the help file's tutorial.

Do any of you know of a source for maps of the planets that could be used
instead?  I know one of the earlier images posted used maps of Jupiter and,
I believe, Neptune.  Where might I find such?

Check nasa-related sites. I got maps of every planet there, and a map of
clouds for earth. But i don't remember the adress, sorry.
Very interesting.

thanks especially for the marketingden link.  I'd been having a hard time
finding a good map of the moon, even on websites that had all the other
planets and a number of *their* moons.
