reminds me of the T-850-arrival in Terminator 3, but since I'm so obsessed by
terminators lately, it would probably remind me of that too if it was an
animation of a duracel-bunny :)

Yeah, I can understand it. The starting looks somewhat similar, though the
rest is very different. The Terminator spheres are actually reflective, not
reflecting the "other side" like my portal is.

I feel that the purpose of a portal is to come from A to B, so keeping
getting back to the same places over and over would somehow lose the point
of it all in my opinion... ;)
