I improved the look a little.

The animation can still be found the same place:

reminds me of the T-850-arrival in Terminator 3, but since I'm so obsessed by
terminators lately, it would probably remind me of that too if it was an
animation of a duracel-bunny :)

But it's really cool! :)

How did you "go through" in povray terms? The change of scenery was breath
taking.... but how?

There is a little discussion in povray.binaries.animations :)

Yeah, I can understand it. The starting looks somewhat similar, though the
rest is very different. The Terminator spheres are actually reflective, not
reflecting the "other side" like my portal is.

Thanks!

Very good. Not very often I have the time to download an mpeg with my
slow dial-up but it was worth it this time.

I have a strong feeling that I want it to loop, but that would
probably not be in context. (Recursive portal ;)

Glad to hear that. :)

I feel that the purpose of a portal is to come from A to B, so keeping
getting back to the same places over and over would somehow lose the point
of it all in my opinion... ;)
