After three+ weeks of struggling with radiosity and ambient light, I am
finally approaching a stage where I can concentrate on composition.
There is a light group for the chess board, but otherwise all the light
either comes in from the window or is ambient radiation from the framed
pictures ("The Wayfarer" and "The Concert in an Egg" by Hieronymus Bosch
and "The Woman with an Ermine" and "The Old man" by Leonardo da Vinci).
There are still some artifacts at this image size, but they can be
minimized by rendering the image at a considerably higher resolution.
The properties of the surfaces are quite decisive, and I had to balance
the shadows by moving some surfaces which aren't visible. The choice of
pictures is related to the title of this image.

I like the floating elements, it adds some "magics" to the scene.
