Based on an old movie poster,
Still needs craggy mountains in the background, and some intrepid astro-men.
Some of you may notice Chris Colefax's galaxy include file at work.
Comments and suggestions please!

I love the background, but the rocket and the moon have something which
disturb me, but I don't know what exactly..

For a starter, the horizon is the edge of the hight_field or iso
surface. Look closely and you can see that it's square.
The rocket looks OK for me, very retro-futurist.

Nice. The stars look a bit contrived. Given there aren't too many of
them, you might be able to replace them with lens flares -- there's
a macro package for that, at http://nathan.kopp.com/nkflare.htm
