Besides the bad media and the lack of material- this is a preview-like 
image for the logo for the Nethack Tournament (for the people who don't 
play nethack- it's a ascii-graphics dungeon-crawling 'roguelike' game)

Otherwise, it's a pretty simple image- just a couple 'o prisms and a 
light source.

It looks to me like this Nethack logo fits your requirements. The shape is
tough to see in this render, however. It won't be easy to make this look
good with so much depth, as the insides of the H "bar" will always
interfere with the shape of the N.
