Hi,
I've been lurking for ages. Been noticing the latest rash of cliche
sphere/plane images and thought this might be the time to jump in and
get the feet wet.
Complying with tradition, here's my cliche. I went for a more modern
art deco look.

Welcome aboard and very nice variation of the traditional theme! Maybe
someone should make a study of different periods of producing "sphere on
a checkered plane" in the history of Pov-Ray. Are we now at "post
classical impressionism" or what :)

I'd love to see how you did the textures and color on the floor - care to
release that part of the code?
Best,
D.
