Hey all,
I've been playing around with that tanglecube isosurface that was
shown here a couple weeks ago, and I got some interesting results. I
changed some parameters, so it's not really a tanglecube anymore, just
some odd polysurface type object. I turned the max_trace level way up,
and set the camera up at an odd location with a very wide angle, and I
found a view that produced a very warped looking image. I then tried a
straight-on view, and I was startled by the result. What form do you
see in it?

Hi Lenx,
Thanks. I'm glad you thought it was too. I wonder if you saw what
I did. :)

Looks like a form of the devil :(

What's the name of those psychological tests? "What do you see in this
ink smudge?" sort of thing.

Your images do look good though.

Hey Alf,
Not exactly what I saw, although I should've expected someone to see
that in this Rorscarch ink-blot-test-like image. :)
Try seeing it as a buddha meditating on a lotus blossom, or
something like that. Can you see it? Hint: the red dot at the top is
the head, the white voids are the hands.

Thats the word I wanted. I can sleep now.

Yes, I see that if I concentrate, hands palm-upwards. Unfortunately,
those white bits keep turning into a pair of eyes with a faint, wide,
smiley-like grin below them.
