For the foam I gave up the object pattern trick because it is boolean and
not good at close-up
I tweaked a function based on the same image as the isosurface terrain.
This function fills the crackle pattern at hi values and let it empty at low
values.
As usual comments are welcome :-)

Big improvement, a lot more realistic. Your water is great. Time to
concentrate on the ground.

That's the best sea I've seen anywhere - well done.

Hi Marc, that's excellent! Great sea. I would have a go at adding
just a little hint of 'off-yellow', or 'cream' colour, if you will, to
*some* of your surf.

I also like the translucency of the waves just behind the surf. Spot
on! :)

Thanks
Good idea for the cream color at thickened zones of the foam (I think it
happens only when seawater is carrying plankton, though)
