Who said it is hard to model (animals) in Pov ;)
But maybe next goal - to leave plastic-look for cloths/gear, and add real
textures to penguins and ice

This reminds me of a style by someone who I havn't seen around here in a
long while. I can't remember his name, but for some reason I think all his
posts for images had a one letter subject. He used a lot of repetition in
his scenes with variations of color, like this, to a very good effect.
nice work. I would suggest a little work on the ground. otherwise, it's
good!

Good!!!
I'll tell you what would be real neat... Use the reflection in the googles
to show some penguins leaping into water. hee hee.

Thanks for the advice Rafal.
I agree. I wasn't too happy with the textures either.
I haven't had a lot of experience using Povray to date so I went with what I
had.
I definitely intend playing with them more in the future.
Work, kids and missus permitting of course :-)
This is definitely still work in progress.
cheers,
Ian
