So, I've been posting the progress of this image in the last few days, and
the loads of replies and different perspectives was really helpful and gave
lots of fuel for thought. Personally, I think I've nailed what I wanted with
this final image. I guess I'll play a little with the colors and lighting,
maybe adjust the poses a tiny bit, but this is the "real thing". Once I get
the image 100% sorted out, I'll put it up on my website.
I want to say thanks for all those comments and suggestions. Of course, I
can't use all of them, and we all know that different people have different
oppinions. Still, was a nice experience getting so much feedback during a
WIP, and I might do that again every now and then. But there's always a
point where one has to say: "Now this is it, final!" There's always someone
suggesting another nudge toward some interpretation, and an image could just
go on evolving for ever that way. :-)
Anyways, enough with the rambling, here's the 97% final image of "Final
Goodbye". You might have noticed that I put the "Final" into the title as
well, and that's not just because the image is final. But that's a
completely different story and I'm pretty sure every one can imagine his/her
own variation of that...
