I've had a frantic week, and completely fried my brain with that city short code
entry, so I decided to chill out and render something simple.

Sit back, and relax...
:)

I love it... it has a very nice atmosphere. Source?

Here's the huge amount of source for this scene!:

union{sphere{z*9-1,2}plane{y,-3}finish{reflection{,1}}}background{1+z/9}

This is one of those scenes where the title sayz-it-all :-)
That's some nice short-code there.

Yes I know, that's why I've also entered this in the SCC! ;)

I'm trying for the "most efficient scene" score, although I suspect I'll get
marked down because, nice though it is, there's nothing clever about it.

Heck, if you want the most efficient scene, just do that that other guy did:

//

That'll compile. Call it "Black Cat in a Dark Room" or something :-)

Ya know, I figure I should be depressed and all, knowing that my short-code
entry doesn't even come close compared to what I've learned since, but in
actuality, I look on this learning experience with great fondness. What a
great world we live in to be able to learn so much from others over the
Internet. I can just imagine how jealous a 19th century scientist would be
if he learned what we all take for granted now :-)

(Yeah, I know I sound corny, but I'm consistent...)

Just imagine how far technology would have been held back if Newton had access
to the internet's vast resources of pr0n ;)

Yeah, he'd probably use an Apple to surf with too.
