I don't know how to tell "a room under the soil" in English...
Illuminated with an area_light and a very bright sphere for the sky (rgb 
1.2 ambiant and difuse > 2)

Very realistic!! I could easily see this in a computer game. Nice!

Maybe with a focal blur you might get rid of the aliasing problem you're
having at the floor there. Another way to improve the view might be moving
the camera away from the center of the room.

Apart from all that..... good pic IMHO

Basement, or cellar.
Basement generally means a room under a house.
Cellar generally means an underground room where you store things,
like a "wine cellar".
Of course, many basements are also cellars, so the terms often get
mixed up.
