Observe the attached image, which contains a sphere of media
surrounding a box with a particular density.  How do I make the
box invisible except for its density pattern?  This seems to be
a problem which is affected by the scattering type, but I can't
seem to quite completely make the box itself invisible.

Tried increasing either samples or intervals, yet? Possibly both if not
using media method 3.

Wow, that helps!  Whee...that never occured to me, I always just use
method 3 intervals 1 samples 4 confidence 0.0001 variance 1...bump
those to samples 10 confidence 0.5 variance 0.5 does wonders at removing
artifacts!  ^_^
