I'm sorry, it's a bit off-topic (not more perhaps than the original post),
but I *really* hate seeing laser written as laZer or laSSer.

LASER =  Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation

No, no not a LASER. "LaZer", the kind used by evil
madmen to destroy mankind. Two of the more popular applications
are the Super Moon Lazer--for destroying planet earth--or the
Shark Lazer(sometimes applied to the more intelligent Dolphin)which
is mounted to a shark's(usually more than one)head.

They do seem quite similar and your confusion is understandable.
