No prizes for it...sorry...

Attached is a screenshot taken from a music video for a trance song. I
really like this picture, and would like to have it as a desktop
background, but its too pixellated.

If someone out there could re-create this image in POV (Or anything
else, really) in 1024x768, I'd be a happy man.

Can't really offer any prizes, really. Maybe I could send $1 via PayPal
or something to whoever I think has the best image.

Do you have any experience with Pov-Ray yourself? If you do, then why not
also try it yourself? Quite good results should be achieved with proper
usage of media and boxes/cylinders. And with a simple macro you could make
the 3d-grid almost infinite looking. I'll try it when I get to my own
computer.

...as You can see POV in fact is a greate renderer and it *is* easy to use
and ergonomical (for some images - even without external moray editor :)

Higher quality image I can email, and also - You can get source from grup
povray.binaries.scene-files

there are few places in file that You can easily edit, marked with

Good, but your picture is a bit incorrect. There should be a bright cross in
_every_ intersection of dimmer beams. And it also looks like a bit out of
alignment (or bad camera angle or whatever). But otherwise it is most likely
very suitable to DJ Wiza.

Hmm yes, in fact - I thought coresses are just effects made by media, it's
very easy to change...how about this Wiza, add crosses everywhere?

Eh... Isn't the cross in the middle much bigger than the others in your
image?

In the original all the crosses have the same size. Perspective alone
make the center one look bigger.

I believe the attached image is a more correct remake of the original...
;)
