Hi All,

I found what I think is a beautiful image by Andrius Gabriunas on
http://www.3dlinks.com (gallery section) and decided to try to copy it
(http://www.3dlinks.com/gallery_fullview.cfm?id=8014).

I was mainly interested in copying light and overall ambience so I only
focused on walls, ball and light. I guess my image is far from an exact
copy but I'm somehow happy with it.

Constrast and structure of the image is quite good IMHO (all credits to
the original author, Andrius Gabriunas).

Nicolas

This is the kind of minimalist images I love to see and I try to do...
Really good atmosphere.

I really like your image, it's very nice, good job. I kind of prefer
yours, it's more consistently minimalist ;-).

Thanks. I agree with you that this even more minimalist aspect (compared
to the original) is more pleasant to the eye.

I'm currently trying to render a bigger version but I have such high
radiosity settings (count 600, error_bound .05 recursion_limit 3) that
it's taking forever... I found no other way to get rid of radiosity
artifacts.

I too like this kind of minimalist image (maybe because I lack the
patience to model complex ones). I wish I had the idea...
