over the last year and a half, i've been working on a printer, and a lot of
the early case design was supplemented with pov-ray output.

modeling was done in pro-e, and these files that were used to create the
final mold, were imported to pov with slp2pov

in crystal.jpg, this is a very early version.
xray.jpg has the main case turned off, so as to show the internal parts.
there's a lot of parts.

finaltex.jpg is the final plastic design, and a wild guess at color and
texture.

now is that picture traced, or real? :)
yes, we do have real hardware.
