I was playing around with the old spray plugin for Moray and
came up with this. It uses the 3-spot-technique. One coming from
the left, one from the right and one from the back. Right and back
spots have no_shadow. It doesn't show much in this image though.

Hmm... what did you set max_trace_level to? I'm wondering if those black
areas are natural.

I tried it but I won't post the result since it turned out, AFAICT, the
same.
What did you want to happen? I'm not quite sure what you meant with
black areas.

There are dark areas on the glass shapes. I figured they might be smaller
with a higher max_trace_level.>
