So, this is just a small preview render (with recursion
depth only set to 2 instead of the time-consuming 3)
to check the colors and look.

Comments and Suggestions appreciated!

Regards,
Tim

Mmmmm, peuse....heave! I think it would be safer to stick with
primaries and secondaries. Cool media though.

What do you mean with "stick with primaries and secondaries"?
Media is actually just a simple, spherical, polywave 2 media
with lots of white at 1, but the color at .9.

Hm, perhaps you're talking about primary and secondary
colors? Well, the macro just takes one color as input, then
slighty modifies it for each successive step. This way, the
later iterations appear in color close to their parent, but
can be distinguished from each other.

Tim

Very nice. Is there a larger version available, so I can have a new
wallpaper? :-)

Well, once I get enough comments for this image
on what I ought to change/enhance/take away,
I want to render the scene with one recursion level
further, like the other recursive sphere.
And I also plan on releasing the source-code to
the open once the scene is completed and the
script cleaned up.

Regards,
Tim

Wow, beware of the virus. It's the W32/Sobig.F

Nice pic. I like the detail, f.ex the little reflections.

Ronald, WOW, nice images! Both of them are very nice. I like the artificial
environment feelling of the first one, and I like the realistic environment
feelling of the second one.... I do not know if you understand what I mean,
anyways great job!

Ciao!

Well, in this image, there is one large
sphere, on which I placed 50 spheres,
on each, I placed 50 spheres.

The latest version is rendering 30 spheres
on 30 spheres on 30 spheres on 30 spheres,
with media as spherical centers. All in all
810930 objects. More wouldn't work, cause
POV told me it couldn't allocate memory
for texturing statements, or wasn't able to
free memory for additional objects... Although
I changed the code somewhat with fewer objects
than before and I might be able to go on level
further, you wouldn't really see it on the image,
so I let it be.

I'll post the new version once its done.

Regards,
Tim
