play'n with spears.... oh dear oh dear....

Very nice image though - just a few of things which I think could improve
it. There appears to be a discontinuity at the elbow of the arms. If the
arms are made of two cones, and the two cones have the same radius at the
elbow, you can correct this by putting a sphere at the elbow. Actually
looking again, you may have done this - its quite hard to see without having
the file at a huge resolution.

There could also be some signs of the spear having pierced the red checker -
if thats a height map (or even bump map) making the crown, you could put a
large indent at the right place quite easily. Again, you may have already
done this, but its quite hard to see at newsgroup-posting sizes.

The wood texture on the spears could be shrunk a little?

Very impressive overall though.
