Here's the blob2 demo file that comes with the MegaPovPlus distro by Chris Huff.
I have compiled it for myself to run in Windows and I wanted to know if anyone
else would be interested in a Windows binary?

Thanks,
Jetlag

Sure, but I can wait a few days if the next MegaPOV has it?

Anyway I'd like to see some box-blobbing together with rendertime
statistics! It seems your picture could be done with ordinary blobs.
Box-blobbing on the other hand, sounds like something I've been waiting for.

And for the difference to "normal" blob, especially:

and the followup

As the situation is right now it won't be in next MegaPOV. As discussed
in p.u.p. the patch at the moment lacks documentation and it is unlikely
that someone from the MegaPOV Team will work deeply enough into the matter
to write it. If Chris Huff or someone else improves this it would be most
welcome of course.

Christoph

Then I'd like to try the MegaPOVplus version when it's available on ftp or
web (please no email due to size)

Thank you!

Here's 200 random box blobs. I'm still figuring out this thing. Looks like it's
got some potential.

Interesting! It seems the edges remain sharp at all times? I'm not certain
since the image is heavily jpeg'd. Well I'm looking forward to try blob2.
