Thank you for the question.
Right, POV-Ray 3.5 for rendering the image
and XnView 1.5 for colours normalization
and saturation gamma correction.
I think that both can be done using POV SDL as well,
It's just a bit simpler in XnView.

Actually I used the patched version of POV
with bicubic patch bug fixed,
because the object is a set of bicubic patches.
The object itself is a result of tons of calculations
and tests, none of the known modeller programs
was used.
