Wow! Very very good looking. It's not often we see interior scenes with such
beauty in colors and light!

I was about to skip this post because of the big size. I understand if you
want to keep the quality of the textures but still...

Btw, if you want to get rid of the moire-patterns at the wooden textures and
the table fabrics, try this antialias: +AM2 +A0.0 +R2 -J

Maybe you knew that...

Hugo

Thanks

So you suggest I post only jpg? With this image, the artifacts became
unacceptably noticeable...

Nope. Thanks; I'll try re-rendering with this setting.

If you really need to post an image of that size without converting it to
jpeg you should at least correctly attach it so we can all see it.

Well, I've just tried converting it with a rather
"uncompressed" jpg (compression level 1),
and that reduced the size to 650kb, and the visible
artefacts were only slightly blurred lines on the
tables and on the edges of the tapestry in front
of the window... And isn't jpg THE format in which
to post here?

Use JPEG. This will nicely compress down to ~ 60 KB.

All over. Perhaps something in between would be fine. Or a sample /
thumbnail with a link.

Well, I shall post in jpg next time, since everyone else doesn't see to
mind the artifacts. As for attaching...My news reader doesn't even
support attachments. All I can do is add a file as an inline uuencode.
I figured it would be a really odd newsreader that didn't support
uuencode...
