Hi,

This is (probably) my last Diablo image. I hope, you like it.
Due to the image size (> 300 kBytes) I post a link:

Nice but some kinda sky is really badly needed, HDRI would be the most
obvious choice.

I'm always impressed by car modeling, it seems quite difficult to me, so
I like the model a lot. :-)
You should try more lights, a sky, and a ground that doesn't look flat
(maybe it's just the lighting that makes it look flat).

that is very very nice, I get this weird sense of scale though like I'm
looking at a toy car, still very nice though.

What does it make to look like a toy car? Can you be more specific please?
Sometimes I have the same impression, sometimes I haven't ... :)

Well, I used HDRI, but probably a bad one. I'll make some tests with other
HDRI maps, maybe I'll create my own with Terragen.

It's too dark. I almost can't see a thing except the wheels, when I'm
sitting here at daylight and watching the screen. I prefer images that can
be seen everywhere by everyone.

Hugo

Then wait until it's dark ;) Well, you're right, I have to spend some time
to improve it - especially the lighting.

it might be the position of the camera, since it is positioned rather high.
You should position the camera at 170 cm above the ground, since this would
be the most natural way to look at a car (standing on the ground).

I think it is the scale of the ground texture. Try and scale it to about
a third of what it is now. BTW it doesn't really look like cobblestones,
more like a stone wall.

The car is of course great, and deserves a better ground.
