It's been a few months since I last posted an update. the modelling
continues slowly. I thought I'd taske a break from working ont he ship and
start playing with the water. This attempt based on an example file from the
great Mr. Tran.
Would love your comments.

Thanks, but Gilles Tran is the one that did all of the work. I only tweeked
his idea a little bit. I am concerned that the water is too green.

I've seen water as green as this, but never at full sea.

Great ship, great water! I just have 2 notes:
Regarding the scale:
I think the waves are too "long" compared to the ship.
Regarding the colour:
By deep water, blue sky, and no island nearby,
I think the water wouldn't be so green.
It's the most detailed computer model of a ship, I've ever seen! Stunning
work.
Best Regards,
Hugo

Thank you for the positive comments. I think I will darken the green a
little. The ship is sailing on one of the Great Lakes & the lake water will
be darker I think.
The ship still has a lot of modelling to go. I am working on the rigging
now.

Lake Erie is that green, Lake Michigan I don't know, the rest would be
more blue.

I like it but I would expect more froth, foam where water hits boat.

I agree. I will be working on the bow wave and wake next.

Perhaps I should leave it then, as far as I know, the Niagara never left
Lake Erie.
Thanks for verifying the color for me.
