... or possibly 'Skyhooked' would be a better title.

This image sort of evolved from modifying Gilles' MadPipe Macros to
conform to a given object shape - in this case to stay out of the
central globe, but within a certain distance, and to avoid blocking the
windows.

I've tried to get as much visual contrast as I could between the
complexity of the globes and the featureless background.

It needs something more - it's not really a finished scene - something
like hanging gardens or some kites or ... ideas would be appreciated :-)

Bye for now,
	Mike Andrews.

I really like this image. It is very 'Gilles' though...;-)

All the best,

Very very nice :)

As to what it needs, i have no idea - i would be tempted to leave as is,
render it huge and get it going as a poster on zaz

This looks really nice, I'd like to know what the view is like looking out
through the window of one of the globes.

This might be a really bad suggestion that could ruin the image: perhaps show
some of whatever it is that they are hanging from. Is it a big metal support, or
a hovering ufo type object, or maybe the chains run all the way to the moon!

Slightly more sensible suggestions: a little more visual interest in the
background, maybe planes, very distant foggy mountains, clouds. Oh and a few
birds flying between the nearest orbs and the further ones.

Great picture but like someone else said, very Gilles. Not sure if that's a good
or a bad thing, but I like his work so I count it as good :)

Hey Mike,
Nice image! Maybe you should show a person (living?) inside one of those
balls? :)

What about some guy/woman holding on at the bottom of a cluster? Trying not
to let go and fall down. gives the viewer an uhoh-feeling...... :p

Thanks, higher praise I couldn't hope for :-)

I did try to get a 'Tranesque' feel to the picture and used techniques
picked up from him ...

Hmm, it is rather similar to the 'Abyss' scene isn't it? It sort of
evolved this way ... I'll have to add something to change the feel.

Mike Andrews.
