Given the recent batch of first posts, I came to think that I may have
violated the rule of making the first post a "mirrorball on checker
pattern". I fact, I don't think I have ever made one of those.

Never too late to wrong a right, though, so here is my attempt to make
amends and appease the raytrace gods:

A few years delayed, my interpretation of the classical theme
"Mirrorballs on Checker Pattern".

Nicely done! Unfortunately, as the game pregresses it will be harder and
harder for the players to remember which pieces are whose... One of the
better interpretations on the first post scene, though. :)

I don't think that matters much. Before you reach that far into the
game, most of the pieces will have rolled off the board anyway. :)

Hehehe.... looks like a trend has started... can we expect reflective

Back in the day, on compuserve, there was actually a competition for the
best RSOCP image.
