Folks:
Any ideas what I should do with this? I thought I would make a still live
based on the theme of money, but now I'm not sure where to go for it.
Should I just scatter some atonal flutes and metal thingies around and call
it a day? Money, money, money.
Aaron

Hmm... where to start?... If it were me, I'd get down to my local Maplin
store... ;-)

You should build yourself a cluster for distributed POV-Ray rendering!
Or if you're doing a still life perhaps an old weight with euros on one
side and some low value currency on the other (you know, a whole bunch
of bills is worth like 1 euro) you get the picture..?

Awesome. I tried to make some euro coins, but they didn't look
nearly as good. Back to the drawing board ...

Peter:
Money on a scale vs. something else is a good idea.
I'm not sure I'd want to choose among the old currencies,
as inevitably, someone would be insulted.
What does Norwegian money look like, by the way?

Why is it that colorful money reminds me of playing Monopoly?

Why old currency? A hundred Japanese Yen is worth about 0.75 euro. But I
see what you mean..
You could put something else on the scale, a human life, a nuclear
bomb.. Or a cluster for distributed POV-Ray rendering! :)

We use both regular stones and shiny stones, in addition to special
wooden bricks, pearls and gems (which are the most valuable). Sometimes
hitting the shop owner with you club can get you the stuff for free!
I'll scan some money tomorrow, if I can avoid scratching my scanner
glass plate that is..
