This was supposed to look like metal, but it doesn't really look like metal.
It looks a bit more ceramics instead?

An unknown object made of an unknown material? 'tis a mystery! It does look
a bit like ceramic; great looking image.

I'd say, it looks like a small metalthingie, that has been powder coated 
with teflon or something similar.

Yeah, it looks like a flexible plastic to me.  Something soft and
pliable, I would expect to be able to bend it easily.
