...this while doing some experiments with my
Liquid-Surface-Simulation Macros. I've used a mesh
from Poser to test the mesh-intersection algorithm
I've implemented (which is basically counting the
amount of surfaces hit to check if I'm in- or outside
a mesh), and it works rather fine.
I was then thinking about doing an image where
a person (most probably a woman, for me being
a man, men don't always look that pleasing, even
though I'm the kind who can admit when a man
does look good) was rising through several layers
of surfaces. Something like "Breaching from the Depth"
or such, but that didn't work out too well. It evolved
to this, something like "Dream of flying", though she's
not swooping like Superman, but rather just lifting
off, more like floating or such.

Ah well, this just popped up, without much thought
about it. Just went where it took me, and fumbled with
it till it looked nice.
Can't truly call it "Abstract", but I didn't reach the original
purpose either. Anyone got any ideas what this is now?

Suggestions and comments, as always, are welcome!

Regards,
Tim

She kind of looks like that superhero... Butane Woman.

I think the picture either needs a bit of post processing or just a slightly
different background colour. If you turn the picture upside down, it has a
horizontal line caused by the shadow around her arms that cuts the picture
up. She looks like she has two holes under her jaw too (too much
reflection?).

Other than fixing those two things, I'd leave the picture as it is and turn
it into a triptych with this being the center piece and the left and right
ones being half the width and her rotated about 80 degrees left and right.

The glow is great, I say it is fine the way it is, except for the 2 black
spots below her jaw.

I would call it abstract.

nice effect,
it has someting like for a comercial or poster. it's quiet pleasant to look
at, but as others allready metioned: try to get rid of the black spots, also
that one on her left breast.

Thanks for the comments. I was annoyed
by those black spots as well. I'll see if
I can use no_reflection for the woman
herself, so that she won't reflect herself.
That should get rid of the artifacts.

I'll post it when its done,

Tim

Gorgeous image... I really love it...

Andrew.

(Dang - why do *I* never accidentally create cool stuff???)
