I'm considering entering the architecture round, though there's only a few days
left so I might not.

Anyway, this is an Escher inspired optical illusion. Pretty simple but very
effective :)

Not bad! Throw in a few lizardlike creatures, and you have an entry. :)

Here's a somewhat more elaborate version, though still no lizards.

Normally when building an optical illusion that uses an orthographic camera, the
guaranteed way to show what's actually going on is to render it with a
perspective camera. So for anyone who's wondering how the illusion works, here's
a nice clear perspective view of it :)

I'm going to have to stop this soon, my mind is going.

Ooh, now that would really make this image look confusing!

I was thinking more of a couple of 3D lizards crawling round, or at least that's
what I assume Ib meant.

It definitely needs characters of some sort, but I'll leave them out for now
unless this becomes a serious IRTC entry.
