This is a frame from an animation I just made. I am posting a still here
because at 320x240 you cant really see the details of the figure. Model was
made with Wings3d, This was my first successful (sort of) head done with
wings. I think I am done working on this model, even though he still lacks
deffinition in the chest area... Hey who dosn't?

Nice model - Save yourself the pain of modelling a well defined torso - put
the guy in a t-shirt or use an image/bump map :)

Did you model the entire character from scratch?
Great work then!
Can you control his facial expression?

I kept my edgeloops fairly clean in the model, so I should be able to
animate facial expressions. So far though I only made him move his
eyebrow. He canbe suprised, he can get mad, and he can raise one eyebrow
^_- I think I should do a better head though, before I let anyone see
close-ups...

You've got some nice detailing there. The structure of the legs looks
particularily good. How many polys? Did you use Virtual Mirror?

It was built from a cube, most of it was modelled using the virtual mirror.
model is about 995 polygons, but it is mirrored and subdivided so the
rendered model has about 3980 polygons. But it still took well under a
minute to render so it wouldn't hurt to add some more detail.
