So, here I am, back up and running. The required
"Reflective Sphere on Checkered Plane" shall
announce my Come-Back...
Though that might take some time, starting from
scratch...
Enjoy!

Very nice image Tim. I'm glad you rebirth as v2.0.
You know the artist is inside you, not in the lost
sources (though I know it has been a real pain).
Keep up your good work.
Bye

Welcome back Tim :)
Nice image.
If it was mine, I'd give a try to a thin scattering atmosphere around Earth.
BTW do you live in Black Forest? That could explain the hilight spot we can
see there ;-)

Thanks.
But, ehm, did you notice I'm not a total newbie?
Just a reborn. :-)

I've never been gone!
No, I don't live in the black forest. That white
spot is just a coincidence happening with specular.
And about that scattering atmosphere: I wanted
these to be marbles, so I don't think they've got their
own atmosphere (at least not so dense that we can
see it).

I noticed they were marbles but I thought a marble with atmosphere could
give a strange feeling
