Friends/Romans/Countrymen:
We all remember the level 2Fort5 (Or... just "2 Forts") which can be
found in many games. I've decided to pay a brief tribute to it with this
short 140 line pov file. 100% procedural (obviously). I turned up the
area-light samples up to something insane which drove up the render
time- but here it is- My own personal rendition of the ramp room in
2FORT5 in all it's glory. I may re-make other parts of this historic map
sometime. NOTE: This wasn't exported or converted from anywhere, and it
is MY rendition, so it's not the *most* accurate.

Yay! 2Fort! That sure brings back memories of good ol' Classic TF. 2Fort
was the first TF map I ever played...heh...that was (yikes) 6 years ago.
My only gripe is the lighting -- the real 2Fort is a bit darker (I always
used to build sentry guns in the dark areas under the ramps and on the path
leading up to the elevator). I like how you did the ceiling part,
though...looks very Quake-like! The textures could use a little more
bumpiness (try a scaled down granite normal) and, IIRC, the ramps were
wooden in the original (wood is sort of hard to make in POV, though). It
also looks like JPEG hates your red ramps (hate it back!). ;)

ZZZAAAPPP!!!! You're dead!
Didn't you also learn not to stand still for that long? ;)
RG - mine never looked like that... it was one big motion blur!

LOL make a proper render of the level, more than just motion blur,
almost an animation but only projected onto the one frame for as
long as it takes to render...would be a rather strange motion blur
since what's being rendered at pixel 1 is comopletely different
than what's being rendered at pixel 1 line 2...
