Any advice and criticism welcome (about the design, not the rendering so
far)

TIA

Bravo!!
Elegant yet practical. But more "An Honor gift to the Captain of the Guard"
than "Excalibur".

Thanks for your concern : would you agree if rather than being Arthur's
sword I'd say it's Sir Galahad's ?

I think you are progresing wonderfully. At first I thought that you didn't
have enough weight at the end of the blade but after referenceing:

http://www.christianfletcher.com/

I can see similar blade widths. I would like to see the pomel wrapped in
leather and wire.

Do you plan on modelling the entire suit of armor to go with the sword?

Tim

Thanks a lot for the address http://www.christianfletcher.com/ and for your
suggestion about the pomel.

I'm not sur I will model the entire armor, certainly a helmet or two, I'd
like to create a deserted roundtable hall, something sad and abandonned.

Thanks again

I like the looks of the sword, but I think there is some good chance that it
will break halfway when used in some heavy battle activities!
