others.
May be Kruger liked the cross section of #1 better than #5's...
What's your choice.

After the survey, the constest : will you guess which tool I used to design
these blades (not spatch, or anything like that) ?

Thanks again
Philippe

A sweeped and scaled (scale following a spline) prism along a vector?

They are all very medieval :)

2,5, 6 are my favorite.

Best,

Nope !
I won't retain the truth, any longer, I used Domenator, a plugin for Moray
(and a generator for povray), which I design to model the many different
Domes I saw in Moscow, that another ray tracer used for a paper basket, and
that I thaught could do blades only in playing with the scaling, in fact I
was surprised myself with the result.

From this choice, I prefer #2. I read the other comments from the last one,
and the rounded tip is probably more historically accurate. It was just a
preference.

As far as how...I have no idea. They all look very well done.

I like #5 and #7, but the cross section shouldn't extend all the way to the tip
of the blade... that is, if you can help it. if not, they are perfect.

Thanks for your Help.

>but the cross section shouldn't extend all the way to the tip of the

You're definitely right, but I made this little study because I had that
silly idea that a blade is nothing else than a dome squizzed in one
direction and elongated in another one, so it went out not so bad and with
very few efforts, and working more on it would mean a lot of work that my
wife is not prepared to support ;-).

Thanks again

Philippe
