Good job with the leather! (so far) When I read the subject, I was curious
how "leathery" it would look. Once you get the texture on it, I think it's
going to look great.

Any idea where I coul find a good leather texture. One with a bump map would
be nice.

I would try something procederal in Pov. Maybe the granite, agate, or
wrinkles patterns would be useful.

I made this one:

#declare Leather=texture
 {
   pigment {color rgb < .65 , 0.4 , .3 >
           }
   normal
         {
         average
         normal_map
                {
                [ crackle metric .3  turbulence 0.1 ]
                [ crackle metric .3  turbulence 0.1 scale .3]
                [ dents , -1.0   scale  0.01]
                }
        scale  .2
        }
   finish
   {
      ambient 0.1
      specular 0.4
      roughness 0.02
   }
scale 0.5}

play with pigment, finish and scale
