I will add a control stick and Maybe wheel wells. I have fixd the black on
the tail lite.
I also want to work on the seat to make it look better. I will add the
hinges and the latch for the door.
The body is done in Rhino. The texture is done in POVray. The wheels are
also done intirly in POVray.

My roomate pointed out that the hubs look plastic. Maybe you should give
them a more silver color (less pigment, more reflection)?
The model is really cool. It could do with higher radiosity settings, but I
realize this image isn't final.
Will it have a steering wheel/dashboard?
Finally, what's that black spot on the back right?

Thanks on the tip about the rim and the radiosity.
No dashboard. Stick on the side used for both steering and speed/break
control. Instruments would be projected on glass. I still have to do these
things. This was an experiment. I have a large number of designs that I want
to model. I had tried this one in Truespace and it gave me trouble with the
nurbs surfaces. Rhino was a blessing and povray makes it look sooo good. Now
I plan on trying some of the other designs I have. That RIM is done
completely in POVray. Torus's and cylinders intersection and difference with
a bicubic patch for the middle.

Really cool! :o) Quite imaginative. I like the plastic look, if that does
look anything like plastic.
I have no idea how you or anyone else are able to use Rhino to do this kind
of modelling. To me, the interface of Rhino is useless.
The white lights in front of the car are not "lit" because there are no
glowing effect and I would prefer a visible interior behind the glass..
whatever.
Apart fromt this ...it's just great!

Hugo

Beautiful car, but I can't help but think it is not
practical. Most vehicles today put the passenger
behind at least a little protection. Although I could
image a car with crash avoidance built in.
