Bad translation. It's only a mug...

Looks real good. Not sure if there should be more reflection showing in the
scene though, both in the cup and piece of amber (tabletop too, if polished)
since they are so shiny. Maybe there already is... only that it might not be
variable reflection that I'm wanting to see, noting how you used version 3.1
for this and not 3.5.
I don't know about Amorphium but I guess that's how the isosurface-look was
given to the mug. It works well if so. That handle would be better matched
if it also had pitting too.

Kzerphii,
Do you have a sense of how Amorphium compares to more expensive
commercial packages? I am interested because I am trying to give advice
to a neighbour who is just graduating high school and is interested in a
career in cg. Does Amorphium have a renderer?

I don't know the professionals packages as 3ds,
maya, Cinema 4d...etc (a little bit too expensives...;-))
But I use Moray 3.2 (press edition), Amorphium 1.0,
Amapi 4, Blender (difficult at begin), GMax, Hamapatch
(to model), Vue d'Esprit 1.2, Poser 3...etc
Amorphium is more easy to model intuitivelley ("intuitivement"
in french), visually. But Moray is the easyest in general.
I'm waiting 3.5 to buy it. Too many bugs with Amapi.
Hamapatch easy too.
Amorphium 1.0 has a renderer. I don't use it. I prefer PovRay 3.1.
Not time enough to use PovRay 3.5 or Megapov (and program)... :-(
