I'm in the process of overhauling my website, so I've come up with a logo for
it. It's based on a picture I posted here a while ago. I decided I wanted a nice
flat coloured toon-style version of it, which will download really quickly :)
It's rendered in pov, with no post production. The black outline is a duplicate
object made from thicker links with a transparent texture and a black
interior_texture. The white outline is another thicker object further away from
the orthographic camera.

It's a real nice logo, simple enough to recognise straight away, and
complicated enough to be able to look at over and over again.

Familiar looking logo, at least where I'm concerned. I use a 3rd partly
library called HOOPS by TechSoft America at work. www.hoops3d.com. Very
similar. Unless that's not an issue for you.

Nice - now if you could animate it rotating it would be a stunner

Doh! I shoulda chosen a more complex logo!
Anyway, I'm not using for commercial purposes so hopefully they won't mind. Plus
my one doesn't actually use hoop shapes, so it's probably different enough!
