In commemoration of the completion of the Fall semester, I commisioned
myself to create this work of art. Actually, no, I just couldn't focus on
studying, and rendered it last night. So enjoy, and congratulations to all
of you out there who triumphed, just got by, or otherwise made it through
the last semester of college ( or any other school ). And happy holidays to
everyone.

        Sincerely,
        Ben Scheele

P.S. See Lord Of The Rings if you haven't yet. It rules all.

After five months, I'm still trying to finish the book first...

Yeah, my brother was doing that too, and he finished the day the film
came out. It wouldn't be all that bad to go before finishing the book,
because the end of the book will be in the next movie.
Anyways, did anyone like this image? Comments or criticisms anyone?
People seem to be staying away from my posts like the plague. Was it
something I said? *Dr. Evil voice* Throw me a bone here people.
Maybe I should just post images that are works in progress. I guess
that's mostly what people post on this board, but sometimes someone will
post a few spheres and get 10 people gushing over it. It's not that big of
a deal, because I'm still having fun participating in this group.

Oh yeah, good point!

Yep, I like it - I think it would make a good poster in fact. It's kind of
surreal, like a Twilight Zone image of some kind. I like the contrast
between the bright objects and the black and white background.

Thanks Dave. I never thought about the contrast being beneficial like
that, but now that you mention it, that makes sense. It's actually just
O_Cloud1 from skies.inc; I thought for a while that I should put more effort
into that element, but something made me think that it would be better to
leave it be. I read in someone else's post recently about how the best
images often have a certain simplicity about them. Mine don't often, so I
think I will try for that a bit more.
That's also a good suggestion about making it into a poster. Kind of
creepy, Twilight Zone like in fact that one of my posters fell of the wall
today of its own accord. I decided that I didn't want it there anymore, but
I didn't have anything to put in its place...Until now. I'll have to head
over to Kinko's soon.

Without wax,
Ben Scheele

P.S. I wrote this last night, but I couldn't send it for some reason.

Sorry. Outlook Express was being finnicky. I caught it before it posted a
