This could be my entry for the Frozen Moment IRTC round, however I'm not
shure if the uncensored image would offend some people. What do you think?

Credits: Fir trees from Forester Arboretrum, water lillies from Toucan, cat
tails from 3DPlants, birds by Lyne's Creations and figure Poser 4.

Regards, Christoph

Hi Christoph,

Very nice picture. Nudity doesn't bother me. I love the
water, trees and colors. It looks like there's too much
mist on the lake for me and I'd like to see some clouds.
The rocks in the water aren't convincing (to me) and there
seems to be some black rectangular artifacts on the lady.

Show us the uncensored image, we'll tell if it's offensive. ;-)
Seriously, if you are to censor the image, I think you should consider
something more subtle than "black rectangle artifacts"... maybe a bird
passing by, or a plant growing between the lady and the camera.

Nice picture!

Maxime

I've seen fog much thicker than that on rivers/lakes, but you should
increase fog_alt (I'm assuming it's fog and not media). Also the lighting
looks like the middle of the day; by that time of day most fog would burn
off.

I only recall one person really being offended by nudity, and that was
because there was a picture of a nude body with CSG operations done on it
(sliced up). This is fine, just say "nudity" in the subject line.

It's good so far. The trees are excellent. The fog doesn't strike me as
terribly realistic (maybe it needs tree shadows or a different color or
something). The cattails also look a little too fake (mainly the green
parts, try working on the texture).

You could increase the water realism by using functions to add slight
ripples from the rocks and other objects in the water.

Her skin looks a bit shiney or like plastic compared with the other tetures.
good picture. I'd say it would only be offensive if her breasts are
abnormally, and untastefully huge.

Looks great so far. Here's what I think cold be improved:

Give it some foreground. Maybe a patch of water plants would do it.

The girl is currently on a -y move so her hair should be flowing in
the opposite direction.

Give the first two rocks slight outward ripples, and keep in mind the
timing :) If you observe the speed ripples spread in water in real
life, then by giving them the appropriate spread in you picture you'll
give a more focused idea of time.

The landscape elements, especially the trees are very convincing. The
nude girl is not offensive but a bit unpredictable. Remember, the nude,
is a very loaded image. You can't control what associations the viewer
might have through it. It strikes me as a bit gratuitous in this image.

Maybe if you add a naked man running after her?
Just a thought...
