...I've got a faster machine now and I can afford some of the more
(computationally) expensive media effects.
More specifically this is another test of an atmospheric model (media) for
blue scattering haze, red extinction, etc. Unfortunately, my attention is
too often drawn away from the atmosphere to the terrain and in particular to
"realism" in terrain textures with which I have an especially rough time. I
ended up downplaying alot of my ambitions in this one.
Any comments appreciated, and in particular any ideas on good rough/rocky
normal patterns.
