Hi all, firstly, I'm just posting this on behalf of TonyB, as he seems to
have trouble posting anything substantial right now because of some strange
bandwidth issue with his connection (I think), so he's sent it to me and I'm
posting it for him.
He says to tell you all that it took about 5-10 mins for the first pass with
the second pass around 40 minutes. He also says to tell you that it just
started out as a doodle, a sphere on a plane as most of his renders, slowly
evolveing into its current form (which in my opinion looks elegant and
slightly eerie - I love that strange green tinge).
I'm sure he'd appreciate your comments, thoughts, suggestions and so on :)
Regards on behalf of TonyB,
Lance.

I *love* it! That's just so cool. I can't quite put my finger on why. It
reminds me of those chairs in MIB at first, but it's a lot more surreal. The
lighting is great.

Beautiful, ethereal, eerie, calm. I could go on...
All the best,

Thank you everyone for your comments. I'm glad you all like it. :) If anyone
is interested in a larger version, I'll gladly render it. That, or I could
provide the source if anyone is interested.

I for one would be interested in the source code--I would love to learn how
you did the lighting.

It's actually quite simple. [Soon to be] posted in povray.text.scene-files.
Enjoy.
