Is this "Hitchhikers Guide to Galaxy", the scene
where they see God's Final Message to His Creation:
"We apologize for the inconvenience"?

ARRRRRGGGGHHHH! it certainly is. haven't modelled Arthur or Fenchurch yet,
though I'm currently googling to find some poser clothes for them. and the
30ft letters of fire will come shortly.

Woohoo! I won, I won!
I don't know why that came to my mind almost
immediately. I haven't read the Guide for at least
3 years now, and that scene left just a tiny trace
in my head...
I love these small one to two page stories, which
have no point, no moral, and seem utterly worthless
in the context of Arthur's adventures, there's one right
after this chapter about some inventor who should
invent genetically engeneered soldiers but instead
creates a fly which can fly out of a half-open window...
Regards,
Tim

the prize was going to be the answer to the ultimate question of life, the
universe and everything, but i'm guessing you know that already ;)
> I love these small one to two page stories
yeah, my favourite is the man whole rules the universe. or at least I think
it is, I can't be sure whether it was just a figment of someone's
imagination or not...
ps what about pov on Deep Thought?
<feeds it pov script with media, photons, iso's etc>
jim> Can you calculate this scene?
Deep Thought> Yes, but it's going to take some time...

forty-two. :-)
I guess Deep Though would come up with
a blue-print for the kind of computer that
POV would produce 125 frames per secs,
no matter the isos, media etc, in order to
use the awesame raytracing techniques of
POV for instant gaming (there you go, Doom3,
you're no good compared to POV) and watch
instant movies...
:-)

Nice, the transit from the curved terrain to the flat foreground on the
lefts seems a bit abrupt.
