heh :) I didn't read the toppic :P

and btw - radiosity settings are little to low, some circular spots can be
toiced of table. Maybe use not-so-perfect-while coor (texture) to hide this

The big difference being back then, no one would waste 10 hours rendering
their CPU :P

Nice

I'm not sure why, but I like the look of these processors very much.

Here's how the inside of a close relative looks like:

Well, my radiosity settings were something like:

        radiosity {
            brightness .8
        }

No wonder...
Well, what should I upper to get rid of those cirular spots? (Besides a
texture for the floor)

I'm collecting those. I have about 14 of those 486-chips, and I'm going to
put a computer together, with one of those processors. - well, just a
hobby...

Why not? Now, some of us are spending days to render a single scene, too.
(But radiosity was not improved, back then - using Povray 2.2 or something
like that...)

Thanks!

Me too :)
Now I have to render his bigger brother (586) and smaller brother (386), too.

Thanks! You posted this link some time ago. The picture was saved to disk,
back then.
But - but it's not a 486-chip. Now, I have to open mine. You used a heat-gun,
right? One day, I will have a look into one of those.
