Hi,
After more than 20days(!) the rendering of my sixth dice theme image
finished (Athlon-850, 1GB memory). Of course the resolution was 5250x3500
but anyway...
BTW, it shows the odd focal blur effect mentioned in
http://news.povray.org/povray.binaries.images/26812/

Maybe this is very foolish, but can't you render the dice one by one and
then put them all together?

I would be possible but not the same, each dice has to be at a specific
position in the image to get the right light and blurring, and last but not
least, all objects of the scene are interacting with each other (reflection,
shadow).
