Well, is it innocent cluelessness or contemptful indifference to protocol?

Don't know if I can cancel the posts once they have been uploaded to the
server. I tried to do so, but it may have no affect. The default
setting on the new poster was set to 64K, which resulted in the
multipule thread, I have changed that setting. As for the bitmap, that
was an oversight on my part, forgot to convert it to a JPEG for
compressions sake.

I'm not too keen about those that are one text + image in two separate
postings already, so yeah, that would be great :-)
Hopefully banning a person isn't the thought here and preventing multipart
postings server-side is.

You can, but they still show up for those who have already downloaded them,
so you will recieve no visual indication that they've been cancelled. It
benefits those who come later though =)

Yes your newsreader (MicroPlanet Gravity) definetely allows you to do that.
Might seem strange, but the program sends a control message telling the
news server to remove the article from the server (although it might still
be visible locally in you newsreader).
Just do it!

You can probably cancel a message that you have posted by hilighting that
message and right clicking the mouse and you may get a context menu that
contains the cancel option.

You can only cancel messages that you have posted.
